Why TRI-LUB

TRI-LUB was formulated to overcome problems encountered with the use of Conventional bushing materials as well as other Engineering Plastics.

  • Self-lubricating: homogenous compound has 100% lubrication throughout. Internally lubricated so does not need extra lubrication, but lubrication can be added to reduce friction and heat
  • Extends shaft life: Protects metal shafts from excessive wear.
  • High Load Capacity: TRI-LUB design load 30Mpa. Compressive yield strength 103Mpa.
  • Frictional Properties: with its excellent frictional properties due to internal lubrication, this allows higher speeds and loading in the most demanding conditions.
  • Temperature Limits: with a working temperature of up to 116 degrees C.
  • Serviceability: TRI-LUB can be press fit, slip fit, mechanically secured or epoxyeed. Electrolytic corrosion is not possible thus allowing for easily serviced bushings and no damage to the housing.
  • Machinable: TRI-LUB has no stress relief when machined.
  • No stress relief after machining.
  • Grooves; longitudinally and helical.
  • Machine coolant not required.
  • Can be threaded and tapped.
  • Custom molded shapes and gears
